Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced that Tim Wolcott has been appointed an Executive Engagement Partner (EEP), a newly-created senior leadership role in Marsh's U.S. Global Risk Management operations.

As an EEP, Mr. Wolcott will be responsible for managing all aspects of Marsh's global relationships with some of its largest clients. This includes strategic planning, service delivery, and team composition.

Mr. Wolcott brings to his new senior leadership role more than 30 years of insurance underwriting and broking experience. Most recently, he was head of Marsh’s U.S. Financial Institutions Practice, a role he held since 2007. Mr. Wolcott was previously a vice chairman in Marsh's FINPRO operations.

Mahoney, President of Marsh's Global Risk Management division. "His proven track record in creating client satisfaction, leading risk practices and industry segments, driving revenue growth, and overall leadership capabilities will be critical to the development and implementation of our most senior client-facing role."

Mr. Wolcott is based in Pittsburgh. An active member of Pittsburgh's business and philanthropic communities, he is a former vice chairman of The Watson Institute, a past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of The Association for Corporate Growth, and a founding member of the Pittsburgh Regional Champions. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
