Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, will hold a one-hour Webcast, Wednesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. (EDT) on meeting the multidimensional risk challenges posed by the global economic recession.
Marsh's Webcast will present key findings of two recent surveys, the 2009 Excellence in Risk Management survey—jointly sponsored by Marsh and the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS)—and a comprehensive new survey of risk management in Europe. A panel of experts will share the survey results, explore the meaning behind the numbers, and address ways to foster deeper engagement between risk practitioners and the C-suite.
"Most organizations aspire to a more strategic approach to risk management, however, there are a number of challenges associated with reaching that goal," said Brian Elowe, a managing director of Marsh's Global Risk Management Division, who will serve as moderator during the Webcast. "Nonetheless, organizations that take a strategic approach to risk management are better able to deal with the multidimensional challenges of the recession."
Panelists for the Marsh Webcast include: Rick Roberts, corporate risk manager, Ensign-Bickford Industries and a board member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society: Pamela Rogers, managing consultant, Marsh Risk Consulting, and Mark Pollard, head of Marsh's Industry Practices, Europe, Middle East & Africa.
It is available free of charge.
