Marsh U.S. Consumer Wins Stevie® Award for Sales and Customer Service

Marsh U.S. Consumer, the leading broker and administrator of affinity insurance and membership product programs, has been named winner of a Stevie® Award for Sales & Customer Service.

The Marsh team of T.J. Amos, Jo Phillips, James West and Tracy Gonzalez was named Customer Service Management Team of the Year during the annual awards banquet held in Miami, Florida on February 22.

Marsh was chosen as the winner from three finalists based on the team's accomplishments, including:

  • increasing the rate at which customer concerns are solved in one call, from 80 percent to 96 percent over a five month period;
  • achieving a perfect customer experience score, as judged by the Stevie Awards’ evaluation methodology;
  • reducing turnover rate to half the industry average; and
  • hiring, training and licensing dozens of customer service representatives (CSRs) dealing with complex insurance products.

The awards are presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world's leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business Awards. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
