Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Nieto to the newly-created role of Global Head of Talent, Learning and Diversity. Reporting to Laurie Ledford, Chief Human Resources Officer, she will be responsible for further developing and implementing the firm’s strategies in these areas throughout the organization.

Ms. Nieto joins Marsh from Citigroup, where she held senior Human Resources roles in the U.S. and Argentina over 20 years.  For the last seven years, she was Global Talent Management, Diversity and Employee Programs Director, a role in which she was responsible for succession planning, development of high-potential colleagues, and diversity, as well as employee recognition, giving and scholarship programs for the global functions.
