Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Remigio Noriega as CEO of Marsh Mexico effectively immediately.

Mr. Noriega formerly led Marsh Mexico’s Multinational Client Service, Commercial Segment, and Surety Practices and served as Senior Relationship Officer for some  of its largest clients. In his new position, Mr. Noriega will lead Marsh Mexico’s retail brokerage operations as well as continue to lead Marsh’s Automobile Practice in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.

Mr. Noriega succeeds Ricardo Brockmann, who will continue as CEO of Marsh’s LAC region and President of Marsh Mexico.

Announcing the changes, Mr. Brockmann said: “Remigio is an important member of our executive team in Mexico and, through his longstanding career, has gained a deep knowledge and understanding of our operational and growth strategies. I am confident his knowledge and experience will serve Marsh’s colleagues and clients well as we continue our growth in Mexico and throughout the region. “

Mr. Noriega joined Marsh in 1987 and has held numerous managerial positions including Strategic Planning, Sales, and Multinational servicing.
