    Peter Cleyn | Vice Chairman, Marsh Canada Limited
    Peter began his insurance career in 1975 with Marsh and McLennan Montreal. He left Marsh in the early 1980s to join Alcan Aluminum Limited as the Global Risk Manager. In 1987 Peter relocated to Toronto with Dale Parizeau, the largest Canadian owned insurance broker, to manage their Toronto based operations. In 1991 he moved to Johnson and Higgins to lead their Risk Management Practice. Marsh and McLennan merged with Johnson and Higgins in 1997 and since that time Peter has assumed various assignments of Client Management and operational leadership focusing on High Technology as well as a global client base. In 2001 Peter relocated to Calgary to assume the operational responsibility of Marsh Canada's Western operations in the provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. In 2005 Peter was appointed Vice Chairman and assumed National responsibility for client development. Peter obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Concordia University in Montreal.

    Urs Uhlmann | Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Canada, Zurich Canada
    Urs is Head of Global Corporate Canada, responsible for the large and multinational commercial business in Canada. Urs joined Zurich in 1991 as a senior casualty underwriter at their head office in Zurich. He has held positions including Casualty Manager of the Chemical/Pharmaceutical Industry segment in both Switzerland and in Canada and Underwriting Manager for International Program business.

    Ben Katz | Managing Director, Head of Debt Capital Markets FIG, Co-Head Financing Solutions Group
    HSBC Securities (U.S.A.) Inc.

    Previous to joining HSBC, Ben was Head of Capital Advisory Group and Co-Head of Debt Capital Markets, Financial Institutions Group, at Lehman Brothers. From 1992 to 1996, Ben was a member of the Merrill Lynch New Product Development Group and was integral to the development of Trust Preferred Capital Securities. Ben is a Certified Public Accountant and a renowned expert in structuring capital solutions and in particular capital security solutions to satisfy regulatory and rating agency objectives and constraints.

    David Mew | Managing Director, National Placement Leader, Marsh Canada
    As National Placement Leader, David leads a team of senior brokers that provide strategic property and casualty program development and review for complex risk and insurance programs for Canadian clients. Prior to joining Marsh, David was a Lloyds broker in London. Since beginning his insurance career in 1979, he has held positions including Senior Account Manager and National Broking Director. David has worked with some of Canada’s largest construction, mining, and oil sands companies and works with underwriters both domestically and in London/Europe to consult on hard to place risks and develop innovative solutions to non-insurable risks.
